Is This The First Flowering Almond Tree In Tucson?

I’ve been watching and waiting for the buds on this almond tree in my garden to open. These are the first two that did.

 

I wonder what are the first fruit trees that flower in Tucson. My Persian lime tree has been in bloom for about a week.

 

I remember that almond trees are the first fruit trees to flower in Israel.

 

My Flickr friend, Linda, recently posted a beautiful photo of a white flowering plum tree that she said is the first fruit tree to flower in Japan. My memory being as it is, I will have to check that she said it is a plum tree... 😷🌈
