Manhattan Fish Chowder

Sauteed vegetables in olive oil, including onions, Bell peppers, celery, fresh herbs from the garden, like parsley, basil, dried spices like Mrs. Dash unsalted spices, paprika, and/or Habanero and Serrano peppers. (See my Scoville Scale photo as a guide for how many hot peppers to add.)

Frozen trout and tilapia from Trader Joe's.

Low sodium vegetable broth from Trader Joe's.

Add everything to a slow cooker. It's easy to make and great for Erev Shabbat dinner on Friday evening.

It goes perfectly with home-baked challah bread.
