Water Drops On My First Sacred Datura Flowers of 2015 In Tucson-1

I love Sacred Datura flowers in my garden. They also grow in somewhat shaded regions in the riparian environment of Sabino Canyon Creek.

They bloom at night and close around noon the following day. Early morning is the best time to capture their beauty.

I forgot to measure this one before it closed. I have done so in the past. I think they are about three to four inches in diameter at the maximum trumpet opening. They are a bit longer in length from front to stem. I will try to have a tape measure nearby when the next flower opens...:))
