Amadeo Modigliano - Pencil On Canson Paper Experiment-4 <<>> B&W
I love the tilt of jacque's head, and Berthe's too... They seem real in just a few pencil lines. What an incredible artist... I really love his paintings...
This is a pencil study by one of my all time favorites, Amadeo Modigliani. It is severely faded. I wonder why... In this sequence, I have experimented with bringing out the pencil lines to make them more visible.
I was shocked when I first looked at it because I almost couldn't see the drawing. I had to move to within a few inches to see anything at all. Fortunately the camera saw more than I did. It did record enough to play with.
