Drenched in a Golden Light
Just before sunset on Bowman's Beach, Sanibel Island, Florida--during my 2019 spring trip to Florida.
Bowman's used to have an official nude section to the beach, but that disappeared a few years before my first trip to Sanibel. But walk down the beach far enough, and you can make it your own personal nude beach. While I was intent on taking photos here, I suddenly noticed a couple (MF) who were walking past. They showed no signs of being discomfited by my nudity. The fact that I did not notice them until they were upon me is testament to how comfortable I was. In many places while nude, I remain hyper-vigilant in order to jump into my clothing at any sign of a surprise visitation. Here, the isolation was great enough that I was able to relax completely. Mind you, in those locations where hyper-vigilance seems necessary, I am still able to relax to a great degree, but without that extra alertness, it makes being one with nature, without the barrier of textiles to interfere, so much better.
GRRRRRR!!!!!!! For some reason, I am unable to add this photo to any groups, other than a tiny handful. The section below the photo that shows the groups it belongs to and from which you can add it your groups does not exist for this photo. It's there for my other photos, but not this one. I have refreshed the page dozens of times to no avail.
