Front end rebuild.
Oxford 995 (MLH 343L) was one of eight former London Transport DMS class Daimler Fleetline CRG6LXB / MCW acquired by Oxford South Midland between June and December 1979. During 1986 it suffered accident damage and was rebuilt using parts from former Maidstone & District Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX RFN 968/9G which had been acquired for spares. These were new to East Kent, Canterbury and a part of their initial batch of rear engined buses. Fresh from rebuild at an unknown date in 1986 995 with replacement lower front panels and windscreens is seen outside Debenhams department store in the city centre.
