The logical extension of this is to have a second child prim with it's own (identical) sensor script, facing 180° from the first child prim. The first would be the FORWARD sensor and the 2nd would be the REVERSE sensor. Which one gets used is determined by which direction the Root script thinks it's going, and movement could be adjusted based on that as well. Both child prims can be any size, so long as their location in relation to the Root prim is the same, ans they could simply be transparent.
