Airport Redesign
It seemed to me that I had the runways all going the wrong way. They were mostly going South-North, which is all very well but the Void Port's to the north so it'd be dangerous having aircraft dodge or wait for craft returning from the Void!
So, having them go East -West made much more sense. There's 10° difference in direction between runways, and they focus somewhere in the east. In that direction we have a company town (with hotels et cetera, yet to be built) and a rail and road link to the Void Port zone.
You'll see lots of planes laid out , mostly to make sure that taxiways and runways are spaced safely apart. (ignore that plane in the lower left side). The taxiways are a lot simpler with this layout. The terminal will be sim at the bottom, with services mainly in the sim west of that.
Now the question is, should I extend taxiways out to the two holding areas the arrows point to? Doing so would double the options (and the headaches) for the ATC.
