Eastgate Elementary School Eagle Painting

by Pomegranate Center

Using the handprints of each student at this K through 5th grade school, parents and teachers of Eastgate Elementary School, along with the Pomegranate Center team, created a large painting of an eagle, the school mascot.

The 52-year-old building is slated for demolition and rebuilding beginning summer 2008.

The 12' by 6' painting, which will hang prominently in the new school, is part of an integrated art plan for the school redesign developed by Pomegranate Center in partnership with the Eastgate Elementary School PTA.
