Wild Red Kites at Feeding Time

The Red Kite Feeding and Rehabilitation Centre at Gigrin Farm near Rhayader. The Kites are wild and travel from far and wide to meet here everyday wher they are fed (at 3:00PM everyday) with the finest cuts of beef (seriously, they use prime beef, 1/4 ton of it per week!). Up to 400 Red Kites have been known to arrive at any one time, today I would estimate about 70 birds were there. The farm is approved by the Government agency concerned with these things, and is responsible for re-introducing the Red Kite across parts of the UK and Ireland. www.gigrin.co.uk
