Waterfalls Háifoss and Granni, Iceland

In the rough, almost treeless, but at the same time beautiful and as good as untouched icelandic nature, the adjacent waterfalls Háifoss and Granni can be admired. Háifoss (meaning high waterfall) is one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland, being 122 m high. 'Granni' means 'neighbour' because of its close neighbourhood with Háifoss. The waterfalls are located in Thjórsárdalur, not far from the active volcano Hekla.
