Harrow Lane footbridge
This shot, take above the Blackwall platforms of Millwall Junction station, looks back across the footbridge which linked Harrow Lane, the station and the West India docls.
The partially-visible loco on the left is on the North London line.. The Drewry shunter is on the climb up to Blackwall Bridge which crosses the North London line and drops down to the docks.
Behind the Drewry shunter appears to be, in splendid isolation, a building which seemsto have survived both the blitz and the subsequent post-war clearing up.
