my custom ooak disney store aurora doll

The wait is over! With a ray of sunshine in her hair, and lips as fair as the red rose, aurora is ready to be viewed. now you all should know why my doll came last. she is the sleeping aurora!:) I made everything on her, and every prop she has! her bed was originally a shoe box. I covered it with bricks made from real terracotta clay! painted to imitate grey limestone. her bed is cursed with maleficents vines and thorns. which are real, and are painted black. her mattress is made of silk, embroidered with gold thread. Her blanket is made of a navy blue tapestry, with a light hand dyed blue brocade, with silver embroidery. Her pillow is made of a blue tapestry, that was used on more then two of my ooak dolls, including my previous aurora doll. its lined with gold translucent beads, with blood red crystals. auroras outfit is made out of the finest fabrics I could get a hold of. her skirt is made out of a gold embroidered black velvet. with purple satin strips. on the purple satin strips, there is a overlay of the color magic (blue and purple) fabric. it has the same embroidery as the black velvet. they both have Swarovski crystals running down the skirt. the top is made very similar to the skit. it uses the same black velvet, and color magic fabric. her bodice is embroidered with gold thread. it also has Swarovski crystals running down it. her bodice is trimmed in the finest gold lace. the gold lace is also jeweled with Swarovski crystals. her collar is lined with gold tulle for extra support. her crown and necklace was also made by me. they too are incrusted with Swarovski crystals. her rose is made out of a real thorn stick, with delicate hand painted chiffon petals. her roses in her hair have the same construction. they are all jeweled with Swarovski crystals as well.:) her fingers have French tips, and she has her finger prick. this doll was based off of a 2013 disney store aurora doll. to get her mouth shut, I had to cut out her teeth. I also made her eyelids and lashes. I painted her face using artist paints, and using real clips from the movie as a base. I also did her hair. I think this might be one of my most detailed dolls. I hope you love her as I do!:)

I just want to thank ozthegreatandpowerful for collaborating with me. I think our group project was a success, and I look forward to any future projects with him!:)
