Save The Semaphores!

A number of the attractive semaphore signals at Hellifield station, with 158787 receding into the distance in the background. I think some lines, particularly ones with high tourism potential like the Settle-Carlisle, should retain the traditional signals for aesthetic reasons. I think Hellifield was actually the first station the Settle-Carlisle train I was on actually called at after joining the Leeds-Lancaster route, so could almost be considered the junction for the Settle route. I was quite saddened when I saw the semaphores at Whitland, a station closer to home, had gone and hope that isn't repeated here.
