M2-GLOBULAR CLUSTER
Imaged the night of Sept. 18, 2012 from St. Charles, IL. Used the 8 inch f/5,5 and Baader MPCC coma corrector on the G-11 mount. Made up of four 200 second exposures captured as the cluster glided from one group of trees to another. Captured with Starshooter Pro V1 single shot color CCD camera. Autoguided with PhD software, DSI camera, and GP-USB interface. Cropped to about 70 percent of the frame, giving (for an APS-C format chip) an EFL of about 1600mm.
