Signpost Forest Tatamagouche

This is the Signpost Forest in the village of Watson Lake, Yukon. The Signpost Forest was started by U.S. soldier Carl K. Lindley during the construction of the Alaska Highway in 1942. He posted a sign with the mileage to his hometown, Danville, Illinois. The Signpost Forest has been growing ever since. Supposedly there are now 80,000 signs and I believe it. So what are the chances that I would stumble upon a sign from Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia? Pretty good I guess because I found it in about five minutes.

Background info: In my privileged youth I spent summers in Tatamagouche, swimming in the ocean and enjoying the ambiance of Nova Scotia without really knowing the history of Nova Scotia.

Tatamagouche is the mispronunciation of the Miꞌkmaq word for meeting of the waters. European and British invaders arrived in Tatamagouche in the 1700's and commenced fighting with each other and burning each other's houses down during the Guerre de la Conquête.
