Terminal Velocity
Of all the shitty decisions American Airlines is making these days, one of the benefits is that their big terminal at JFK is nearly empty this afternoon. And as much as I at first resented the "self-service" checkin, it went through like a breeze. I got my boarding pass lickety-split, and I got over paying $25 to check my 2nd bag (less than the cost to ship, after all; plus I JUST beat the 1st bag fee deadline).
I was feeling like maybe the ol' legacy carrier could make it after all. Through the use of technology!
And then what's this!? A text message from AA.com? How very nextgen!
And my flight's been delayed.
It certainly can't be from having too many passengers to process.
