Sleeping 9/26
Studio 26, exercises from The Art of Seeing
#10 -- Sit & watch your pet – sleeping or awake, focused on you or not. Observe different parts & details –Take new shots of what catches your eye – zoom in for detail. It’s OK if your pet moves – follow, or else keep taking a variety of shots from wherever. Then assemble a collage of your favorite shots, with whatever space between or means of connection or background you wish.
As I sat on a stool at my kitchen counter, I looked down to see Cooper sound asleep with his head between the legs of the stools as in the top left photo. My camera was handy so I took a series of shots from my perch of him wedged under the stools against the cabinet and wall ... happily he did not move when I got up to capture all of him as in the bottom photo!
