Inktober 2022 Day 26: The Beard Club

Andrea's artwork triumphs again

 

We’ve been looking everywhere,

My bearded friends and me,

We can’t find my dog Colin

(Not seen since half past three)

 

He isn’t what you’d call ‘large scale’

He’s rather small and slender

But he does like to go hiding

He’s a serial offender

 

I’ve looked under the sofa

I’ve looked all round the shed

I’ve even checked the loft hatch

And he isn’t in his bed

 

That’s why I’ve called my friends in

(We’re in the Bearded Club

We meet up on a Tuesday

At the ‘Doctor Foster’ pub)

 

They too have helped me look for him

He’s nowhere to be found

The little bugger’s hiding

He’s a most annoying hound

 

So please, please, if you see him

That impish little grub

Tell him to come back at once

We’re expected at the pub!
