Inktober 2022 Day 25: The Cake Shop

You mustn’t say you’ve seen me

You mustn’t tell I’m here

I’m on a low fat diet

(And I must keep off the beer)

 

The Leader says “I trust you

Not to eat and cheat

Please keep on, with your exercise

And move more on your feet”

 

The Weight Loss Programme’s excellent

If you follow the rules

The other people in my class

Use all the Weight Loss tools

 

So far I’ve been complying

With the terms of the small print

I’ve counted everything I’ve ate

And followed every hint

 

But today I have succumbed

When passing this cake shop

And bought the bloomin’ biggest one

For my shake, I will swap

 

So you mustn’t tell you’ve seen me

Or say that I’ve been near

Oh no! Just look who has just entered…

The Leader’s come in here…..

 

(I bet they were going to get one too!)
