Inktober 2022 Day 14: Thermal Socks

There’s a fuel crisis a’looming

The price is through the roof

I’ve dug my thermal socks out

(I made sure they’re moth proof)

 

When the mercury’s a’falling

My toes get cold you see

So I put these thermal socks on

(The stripes are ‘really me’)

 

The moth ball scent does rather pong

I may give them a wash

My washer dryer’s really good

(I think it is a Bosch)

 

There, all is now washed fresh and dry

I’m really on a roll

But argh, no please, just look at that

My toe’s poked through a hole!
