Inktober 2022 Day 13: Spots

Puberty is painful

You feel so insecure

You think everyone is watching you

And everything’s a chore

 

And all others, are happy….

If only though you knew

When it comes right down to it

They feel the same as you

 

“And why’d I have to get these spots?

My life is in a whirl

I don’t think they’ll ever go

I’ll never get a girl”

 

But this will pass and you’ll grow up

Your face will be quite clean

And you’ll look back, with wistful thoughts

And wish you were a teen…..
