Inktober 2022 Day11: Odd Feet

Here is today's offering from Andrea and me:

 

I was rather in a hurry

When this morning I got dressed

I grabbed the first things I could find

I was feeling rather stressed

 

I know I should be organised

And put my things in pairs

But I never seem to have the time

My head is full of cares

 

I’m late for my job interview

This stuff will have to do

I’m sure they will not notice

(I’ll say I’ve had the flu)

 

I’ll keep my feet below the desk

Engage them with my blarney

And if they ask me where I’m from

I’ll say I’m from Kilarney

 

(I’m from Hackney really, but they won’t know)
