Have you ever found yourself sitting on a backlog of 90% finished models you just cannot seem to be happy with? I have amassed a large folder of nearly finished builds and renders to post (and even some physical bricks!), so while I figure out a photography setup and finish some designs/lore, I figure I better start somewhere.
Here is an update to my Colonial Viper MKII from Battlestar Galactica. I posted the last version of this model back in 2023, which itself dates back to around 2013. I received several kind and constructive comments on those renders, which gave me the push I needed to give it its first major redesign in at least a decade. The nose is mostly unchanged, but I was finally able to come up with a solution to the engines I am happy with. I think overall it looks pretty good, and remains fairly close to 1:44 scale. I hope you enjoy.
