My Side of the Story: The Little Mermaid/Ursula - Ursula's Story - First Page
My Side of the Story: The Little Mermaid/Ursula
by Daphne Skinner
Illustrated by the Disney Storybook Artists
(c) 2004 Disney Enterprises, Inc.
I purchased this used, but in good condition.
A hardbound book, 9'' W x 11'' H, 72 pages. Full page full color illustrations on one side, and well written text on the other. One of a series of ''My Side of the Story'' books published by the Disney Press.
One half of the book is My Side of the Story by Princess Ariel (The Little Mermaid). It is a short retelling of the story of the original ''The Little Mermaid'' movie by Disney (1989). It is written in an amusing, light-hearted manner, from the point of view of Ariel, who narrates the story.
The other half of the book, read by turning the book around and upside down, is My Side of the Story by Ursula, the Sea Witch. She insists that she was a misunderstood Octopus, who only wanted to help the poor wayward Ariel, out of her love for King Triton. But sometimes her Bad Side took over, and did wicked things, over which she had no control.
