Savage Nor'easter

Waves from a fierce nor'easter batter a sea wall and the high wind blasts the spray through the air (Larchmont, New York). During the storm, winds gusted past 75 mph (120 kph) in some areas along the water. Trees were snapped or uprooted. Telephone poles were broken. Electrical wires and transformers were toppled. Areas on the water were flooded by a storm tide that reached 4 feet (1.2 meters) above high tide levels--March 13, 2010
