Day 768 - Day 038
Lifetime Dream # 23 of my list of 155: I will own a full standing Rigid drill press for my workshop. It will have a build-in light feature for safety, so I can always see what I am drilling. I will have a full, professional set of drill bits with it, so the bits I use will glide through the material I am cutting.

I have said it before, I was always taught that there is a right tool for the right job, and if you’re going to buy something that you will use a lot and for a long time- spend the money on whatever it is. I use that mantra when I buy guitars and tools. I love working with wood and with my hands, and a lot of the projects that I have to work on involve drilling. Sure I could get the same job done with a regular drill, but for consistency and ease, like the mantra says: right tool for the right job.
I still lament the loss of my workshop, but I will have a nice big one someday. And when that day comes, this drill press will be center stage for the projects that I have to build!
