Forest Fair Village a mall known by many names in its 28 year history. Forest Fair Village originally opened in 1989 as Forest Fair Mall. The malls orriginal anchors were B. Altman, Bonwit Teller, and Sakowitz. By 1990 all of the original anchors closed they proved to be too upscale for this malls location thus the beginning of the decline had begun. In 2002 Mills Corporation bought the mall. They invested 70 million dollars in updating and re-branding the mall to Cincinatti Mills. The mall changed names again in 2009 to Cincinnati Mall when the mall was sold to another group of investors. The mall was then renamed for the last time in 2013 to Forest Fair Village. Currently the only stores still open at Forest Fair Village are Kohl's, Bass Pro Shop, and Baby's r Us.
