Lighting up the Sky.
Last night I dragged my wife out of the house before a line of thunderstorms hit all because I wanted lightning pictures. As we waited and watched the storms approach, armed with her cell phone camera she caught the first photo with a bolt of lightning in it and I missed it. To say the least, I was jealous and couldn't believe that she had done that. Missing several opportunities at getting some beautiful bolts of lightning, it started raining. I repositioned our truck for a better angle and to get us out of the rain when the windows were open, this paid off big time. Once the rain slowed we sat and watched as several beautiful bolts of cloud to cloud and cloud to ground lightning hit. Capturing a few of these instances this was by far my favorite shot of the night.
