Trissolcus flavipes
A female Trissolcus flavipes parasitoid wasp of the Scelionidae family found on oak bark in Guestling Woods. This species can be distinguished from other Trissolcus spp. by transverse arcuate striae on the frons. In this picture a hint of that striation is highlighted by the angle of light. A commonly found species throughout Guestling Woods.
