Short Eared Owl

A couple weeks back it was very windy. The Shorties didn't care and came out making several passes near our car. They kept kiting in place so close multiple times that you couldn't keep them in the frame. This one barely squeezed into my viewfinder as it kited for several seconds at point blank range. I had just a few keepers because they were too much outta frame being so close! Click for expanded view.
