Seaview

I set out to make a colourful landscape jutting out into a rough, blue sea. The sky was blue as well – at first – but I quickly realized that there was too much colour in the composition so made the sky a glowering grey. The tall obelisk is designed to draw the eye and to link the three elements of the picture: land, sea and sky.
