Nicholson Baker

I’ve always admired the obsessive detail of Nicholson Baker’s novels. This is based on a photo that accompanied a Guardian interview but he looks grumpier in my collage than in the original – perhaps it’s really a self-portrait.

The bald head is created from photos of Judi Dench, profiled in the same newspaper.
