Autumn orb web

A web spun by some species of orb spider catching the early evening sunlight near Kilnwick Percy Hall in East Yorkshire, UK. Out on a family walk to look for autumnal colours in the woodland here and found a few of the trees had begun to turn, but still a bit too early for many, this shrub was one of the exceptions and made a nice colourful element for the overall composition.
