Corpach Wreck - split toned
Split toned version of a similar colour shot of the decaying remains of the MV Dayspring (originally named the 'Golden Harvest'), lying on the Loch Eil shoreline at Corpach (roughly translated 'Field of Corpses'). It would have been good to compose the shot with the imposing peaks of Ben Nevis in the background (left of frame here), but unfortunately, low cloud obscured the summit for all but a couple of hours all week when we were visiting the area. The old fishing vessel apparently ran aground here in 2011 following a storm that broke its original moorings from a pier at Kinlochleven. The seagull at top left out of luck for this old boat.
