A Good Harvest and Bad Witches

Many farmers believed throwing crushed eggshells onto the soil in their fields they would receive an abundant harvest the following year. As eggshells contain calcium and adding eggshells to soil will help add calcium so these ancient farmers were on to something.

Smashing eggshells also stops any witches from using them as boats to sail out to sea where they could cause havoc with terrible storms. Can't be too careful around witches, eh.

HMM!
