Port Isaac
In Cornish Porthysek. A small picturesque fishing village on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall. It has more recently found fame being the setting as Port Wenn for the popular TV series Doc Martin. Thepier was constructed during the reign of Henry VIII. The village centre dates from the 18th and 19th centuries, a time when its prosperity was tied to local coastal freight and fishing. Thanks Doc Martin you've certainly helped the tourist industry of this pretty little village. If you should visit I recommend a pasty from Nicki B's pasty shop one of the best I've had ob my home visit this time! ( 2 more pcs in comments.)
