A longshore drift cake, of course
Anna's geography teacher finished at half term (he was maternity cover for one of the permanent teachers). They all really liked him, so she organised a card for her GCSE class to sign, and baked him a cake. Originally she wanted to make an earth cake (with core, mantle etc) but we didn't have enough of the right moulds; next idea was a volcano, but it was her other teacher who taught them about volcanoes; the final idea was to encapsulate longshore drift into a cake. There can't be many of those around. Her teacher was very pleased and said it was one of the best teacher presents he'd ever had.
