North into the hills

35018 British India Line climbs across Ribblehead Viaduct with the Great Britain XI

In the distance, upper left, is Wild Boar Fell, that overlooks the summit of the line at Aisgill. Also visible, following the curvature of the line, are the spoil heaps created during the construction of Blea Moor Tunnel that lies directly underneath. Next to the middle spoil heap half way up the hill is a ventilation shaft from the tunnel.
