Autumn Lady's Tresses Spiranthes spiralis
A beautiful little orchid, the latest flowering orchid in Britain. Seen at Painswick Beacon/Golf Course, Gloucestershire. The characteristic spiral of flowers is shown clearly in this shot. First time I've ever seen one and the first day I'd actually gone looking for them.
You can make out the flag on the 8th Green on Painswick Golf Course in the background!
