My second entry for the Macro Mondays group theme for the week of 7 May 2012: "water play". The first one is in the first comment below. Like that one, these were naturally occurring drops after a spring rain – in this case, the weight of which bent the reed down right to the perfect angle. These reeds are Equisetum spp (I believe it's Equisetum giganteum) – we call them "horsetails" around here.
