Grime time..........I read somewhere washes are what people who do not know how to paint have to resort to, whatever I'll own it. I want the buildings to have an aged weathered look to them. The wash is mainly water with a dash of Matte Medium and a few drops of dish soap, I used less than a teaspoon of paint to a cup of water. Slather it on with a big brush and quickly wipe away the excess with paper towels. I don't want to look too grimy, just enough to bring up the detail and tone down the paint colors a bit.
