Old Tree by the River (final edit)
An old tree dominates the rivers edge at a picturesque setting during late summer. Leaves just starting to drop show the way to Autumn and remind you that one season is ending.
I remember being at this spot for over half an hour to get the right composition, lighting and effect needed to allow the image to best fit the atmosphere I experienced.
Post processing was difficult & lengthy, trying to bring enough details and the right colour through to represent the story. In the end a preset found in a Lightroom Plugin (Analogue Effects Pro) helped shorten the lengthy process to get things closer. Final touches with Lightroom and saved. I haven't published this image before because I couldn't get the right end product, but I am now delighted that some extra time re-visiting this image has paid off.
