1960 Ford Starliner Original AMT Model Kit
1960 Ford Starliner original AMT 1/25th scale model kit. I got this at a kit and model show awhile back. It was all together as you see it. This original kit from 1960 was molded in blue with painted side trim. It is almost promotional model type with no motor solid interior and body that you screwed together. I got a great price on it because someone replaced the original blue steering wheel with a white one from another kit. Who really cares! It's in such great original condition and goes very well with the rest of my Galaxie promos and kits.
Special note on this kit, it is made from the harder styrene plastic where the actual promotion model was made from the soft plastic like the 1959 promo shown before. The soft plastic warps and loses value, this hard plastic 1960 is harder to find than a promo model and I don't have to worry about it warping as easily as the promo. I like it!
