challenge-124.2
This was my response to the Diva Challenge #124 - We are Calgary. Laura asked us to do an "Open" challenge, but give some thought and consideration to Calgary, plagued by flooding. Many are responding and also includindg Colorado for their fires, Oklahoma - tornadoes, and India - even more devastating floods. Mine is a monotangle of Quiltz by Kym Barlow, on a background of rainbow colors. It is postcard size, 4x6 inches. The rainbow reminds me of God's promises, and the dove, the olive branches and rainbow after the first flood. Quilts always remind me of things lovingly made by hand, and often given to those less fortunate. These victims need dmore than quilts. They need money, food, water, and prayer.
