Crab Eats Thorn

The Crab Spider (Thomisidae family) has caught hold of a Horned Treehopper (a variety of Thornbug, Genus Centrotus).

The spider is holding his prey with his pedipalps (long arm like structures near mouth) while the mouth in between pedipalps will be sucking out the fluids of the prey. The fluids that are consumed by the spider contain the body parts that have been dissolved and partly digested by venom of this arachnid.
