Macaws Courting - Vancouver, British Columbia
This is a photo of two macaws courting. If you look closely, you can see that they are "holding hands." I had the opportunty to observe them for some time. They were quite affectionate to each other. The photo was taken later in the afternoon, so the light was weak. These birds reside in the large Amazon Gallery at the Vancouver Aquarium. The photo was taken in Decmeber 2011, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
