Nearly a "fog walk"
I shot this photo as I took the first cable-car in the morning from the top of the Untersberg back down to Grödig-St. Leonhard after spending a night on top in order to witness both the sunset and the sunrise above the fog on February 14th and 15th, 2010. The fog covered not only Salzburg and Berchtesgaden that morning, but reached all the way to the Bohemian forest some 200 kilometers away. Rising boldly out of the inversion cloud is the eastern precipice of the Untersberg.
