This past Friday we celebrated Jessie's 4th Gotcha Day, which means that in January (vets estimation) my monkey will be 5 years old! Wow!! That little muzzle is getting a little greyer, but otherwise she's still a little puppy!
We wanted to go on our special woodland/abandoned land walk but with the severe rain/flooding recently, the walk path was almost a 100m puddle! My wellies are knee length and they came so close to overflowing and the puppies were practically swimming! So we ended up having to turn around and go to our usual walk instead. We made the most of it though and today we sucked up the water and got to our special walkies so they got it in the end anyways.
Also, last Saturday we had a family party with 18 people in our home. 10 of them had never met my dogs. Two of them was terrified of dogs and one of them was completely obsessed (& a little drunk) all over them. I was slightly worried it will be too much for J&M but they were surprisingly good. Jess was sat at everyone's feet expecting her cuteness to give her loads of treats, and then as she always does, she just went to sleep on her bean bag whilst getting cuddles of everyone. Molly was licking every guest and doing tricks in return of food. They thought she was a genius cos she could do a few tricks that Pudsey from Britain's got talent could do haha. They were so good. Made me very proud!
