They don't make fire engines like this any more.
From the Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Museum and Heritage Centre in the fascinating town of Greenock, Scotland.
We were there last year on a cruise around the British isles. You hear many stories of inhabitants of Venice, Barcelona and Dubrovnik, for example, getting understandably upset at the unsustainable numbers of tourists.
But in Greenock (on a relatively small ship) we were made to feel very welcome. I would recommend the town and its Fire Brigade Museum to all.
